Ideal for bicyclists; the Gitchi Gami Bike Trail conveniently crosses our property making it simple and painless to hop right on and go. We’re also located on the re-route of the Superior Hiking Trail between Gooseberry Falls State Park and Blueberry Hill Rd.

History of the Guesthouse
Bell Sheep Homestead took over the inn in 2018.
j gregers inn was Built in 1946 by “Porky” Nelson. The resort was first a dance hall and saloon frequented by commercial fishermen and loggers.
The Lake Superior Guesthouse
Much of the original maple flooring remains, which adds to the simple home-like setting created in each of the uniquely-decorated rooms. You can choose from two types of lodging: the inn itself has four rooms, (two with kitchens) and there is also a two-room cabin with a safe and clean gas fireplace.

The Guesthouse is open year-round and located next to Gooseberry Falls State Park, 14 miles Northeast of Two Harbors and 35 miles north from Duluth on Highway 61 along Lake Superior’s beautiful North Shore.
