A poor deer met her demise last nite while trying to cross Hwy 61 in front of our Inn. I noticed a couple Eagles waiting for a chance to get a meal. I went to get the camera and when I got back out there 5 Eagles were sitting up there along with 3 crows. Four of the Eagles had white heads and tails, one of them was not old enough for white feathers yet. I have been watching them for about an hour and they are patiently waiting their turn. There are about 10 crows in the ditch on top of the deer now.
