Tall Ships arrived in Duluth today. Nine different ships arrived. There were going to be ten, but one was struck by lightening and sustained enough damage to sideline it for repairs. Pine Marten Had this Pine Marten at the suet feeder this morning, he has been around this last week. So much fun to watch. They can climb trees and are faster than squirrels, which they like. He really likes the suet. This is the first Pine Marten we have had around here.    

The lake pulled a cruel joke on the fishermen

Last week the Kamloop Rainbow Trout were starting to bite. Sunday the lake pulled a cruel joke on the fishermen and moved the lake ice to the shoreline and preventing the fishermen from getting to the open water. This photo was taken in front of the French River.
