Most of the snow is gone, getting some rain is giving us little green spots in the yard. We are finishing some improvements in the Lake Superior Cabin, for those that have stayed in there, we added a door to the bathroom in place of the curtain.

Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock and Tettegouche State Parks are just minutes away us. The Gitchi Gami state bike trail goes across our driveway, two miles back to the Gooseberry Falls trailhead, fifteen miles to the Silver Bay trailhead. Palisade head is a little over fifteen minutes away with great views of Lake Superior and Shovel Point at Tettegouche.

I discovered a new beaver pond last week about three minutes from us with very easy access. We can give you directions to see this and many other sites when you check in. There are more sites to see than you will have time for on your first trip to the North Shore.
