Finally the temperatures are starting to warm up. The ice on Lake Superior is beginning to break up. The North Shore rivers have some running water. The next two weeks will be the time to be on the North Shore, as the snow melts and the ice breaks up in the rivers. The falls at Gooseberry Falls State Park and Tettegouche State Park will be roaring. There are big chunks of ice floating on Lake Superior and the shipping season has started. We can watch the ships try to navigate there way thru the ice on Lake Superior.
